After yesterdays meltdown i decided to play the 3.40s for a while. This will take a lot of the sting out of losses, and actually its going to be hard for me to lose at the 3.40s.
Also something that is new is playing with the tables cascaded. I have been active on 2+2 and read where switching to cascade would help you play more tables. After reading this yesterday i loaded up 4 tables on my home computer (15 inch screen with 1024X768 res) and was bored to tears! I had tons of time in between action, and could hardly pay attention. I found it kind of hard to follow the action, but that really isn't a huge issue when playing micro limit sngs. Everything is pretty cut and dry, so you can go on auto pilot.
When i got home today and loaded six 3.40s and it went great. I didn't have any trouble following the action, and only made a few mistakes. I think i may have missed 3 or 4 pushes total, and made one mis click. This is just crazy to be able to put in 6 games with this system. I think with a few more sets i will be better adjusted to the cascade view and not miss anything.
This is great. I often wanted to play poker when i was at home but wouldn't due to playing few tables. I could play 4 tiled but you go blind. This is going to let me get more games which equals more money. More money equals building up the bankroll and higher buy in games. I really want to get to the 6.50s again on stars.
Moving back to the 6.50s will let me
1. Wreck a game that is easy. The 6.50s are a little bit tougher than the 3.40s, but they are still money.
2. Build up money that i could withdraw monthly. I could very easily withdraw 200-500 dollars a month off of the 6.50s. This would take a nice chunk out of my bills every month, and help me to get ahead of the game.
3. Build up enough money that i could start playing mtts more. I really really enjoy mtts, and want to become profitable in them. I think i could beat the 4.40 180 mans right now, but i don't have the bankroll to play them. I want to be able to play the 4.40 and 11 dollar 180 mans, and all the low limit mtts i want. I also want to play in the 3 dollar re buy tournament. a mtt with a first place of ~5 thousand dollars, full of bad players, and has a low entry fee??? SIGN ME UP!!!
well there is a little more non tilted update for the blog. More to come in the future because i am wanting to play a lot these days.
