6 table run

i just finished making a 6 table lay out for sng's on stars. There is a decent amount of overlap on the 17" monitor, but i think i should be able to handle it. If things don't go well then i can always drop back down to 4.

So the plan for today is to put in a huge (for me) session of sng's. I plan to 6 table the 3.40's in sets, and hope to get at least 4 sets in today. If i am doing well and feel good, i am going to keep playing.

I really want to test my self to see what i am capable of doing if i decide to grind. Because if things keep going well and i get to the 6.50 level i am going to start putting in a lot more sngs that i usually do. The fact that the time spent will be for real money. After i went busto year or so ago, i have been playing the micros and really break even/small winner. Now i believe i am profitable in sng's and am ready to make some money. I really want to get to the point where i am 8+ tabling the 6.50's with around 1 dollar profit per sng. Then i am going to grind my ass off. This will be a nice supplement to my current income, and allow me to keep my job i have now. I don't make that much money at my current job, but i enjoy it. After my last job i realise how important being happy at your work is, and i don't want to go back to a shit job.

Ok its the next day and the 6 table thing went somewhat well. I managed to play the 2 extra tables, never timed out, or made any decisions that i regretted because of being rushed. So it is going to be 6 tables from now on.

I played 12 sng's with one 3rd, two 2nds, and a first. I lost 3500-7000 chip pots three times when i had a pocket pair, and the villain had one over, all in pre flop. I would of cake walked to 1st or 2nd place had my 70% favorites held up. I am really happy with only losing a dollar or so being i ran horrible. I guess that is expected. Just sucks to lose HUGE pots when i was a big favorite. But i am glad i didn't tilt, and lose more money that i should. I was planing on playing more sets, but i had to leave to go run across town, and when i got back i just didn't feel like playing. But i plan on putting at least another 12 sngs in today. and i hope i run a little bit better this time.
